About Wings of Tatev

Wings of Tatev opened in 2010 and holds the Guinness World Record for the longest non-stop double-track cable car in the world — 5.7km each way, reaching up to 320m above the Vorotan Gorge floor, with a ride of about 12 minutes at up to 37km/h. Cabins carry up to 30 passengers plus an attendant, arriving at Tatev Monastery on the other side. Hours vary by season (roughly 9:00-20:00 in summer, 10:00-18:00 in winter); tickets can be bought online at tatever.am or at the Halidzor ticket office, with a reduced child fare under 140cm. Combine with a visit to Tatev Monastery itself and the nearby Devil's Bridge gorge trail.
