If relatives are flying in for a wedding, birthday, baptism or family gathering, Armenia has both established hotels and smaller independently-run guesthouses within easy reach of the country's celebration venues. Several are set up as multi-unit apartment collections built for exactly this — enough separate units in one building to keep a wedding party or a large visiting family together, within walking distance of each other. Guesthouses and apart-hotels are often the most responsive to a direct message, and several offer family or multi-room setups that work better for a visiting relative than a single hotel room. For a destination gathering outside the capital, resort towns like Tsaghkadzor and Sisian also have real, family-friendly options.
