A professional makeup artist is usually booked by the mother of the birthday child, a bride's family, or anyone in the wedding party rather than the child themselves — Yerevan's studios range from dedicated makeup ateliers to broader beauty salons that also do hair and nails on the same visit.

Bring reference photos of the look you want, and mention the event type (christening, wedding, birthday) so the artist can plan for how long the makeup needs to last. As with hair, call or message ahead rather than walking in — most studios book by appointment.
