Hair salons across Armenia handle everything from a quick blowout before the party to a more elaborate updo for the mother of the birthday child or a bride's family. Yerevan has the widest choice, including a few genuine barbershops for boys, and every regional city listed here — Gyumri, Vanadzor, Dilijan, Etchmiadzin, Ashtarak and Sisian — has at least one real, locally run salon.

Most listed salons take walk-ins for a simple wash-and-style, but a quick call or WhatsApp message ahead is the norm in Armenia and avoids a wait, especially on weekend mornings when parties tend to be scheduled. Prices aren't listed here since they vary by service and change often — it's completely normal to ask when you call.
